====== List of changes in CareFree version 5.6 ======

We are excited to announce the upcoming release of CareFree version 5.6. The product is currently in UAT phase, but will soon be released to our entire customer base once this phase has finished. This page highlights some of the changes within the new release.


  * Large user interface changes / accessibility

  * Restrict the "security tab" within CareFree using roles. 

  * Ability to hide contact logs older than a certain date specified in settings.

  * Added the ability to show unallocated from the Run tab on the rota.

  * Added the option to specify the default expense type within CF.

  * Filter the pay frequency when exporting wages.

  * Automatic jump to client when selecting call from split rota screen.

  * Description box made larger for the alert box.

  * Dialog box showing who will be emailed before actually sending the mail.

  * Ability to set shadowing calls to £0.00 per hour on invoice without adding or editing new rules.

  * On-Hold carers can be hidden from the rota screen.

  * New user roles added for the COS system - "Full access", "Task management", and "Read-Only".

  * Away tab buttons removed in favour of right click options.

  * Travel time can now be turned on from the split screen rota.

  * Reports can be renamed on the reports toolbar.

  * Ability to show QA on rota for either schedules or completed, depending on preference.

  * Ability to right click edit on the away period on the rota.

  * All options working on right click in split rotas.

  * View away periods from the split screen rotas.

  * View packages from split screen rotas.

  * View preferred time from the split screen rotas.

  * Ability to add expenses to multiple carers/clients in one go rather than individually.

  * Search has the ability to link to associated clients.

  * Can now send SMS messages to clients, like you can Carers.

  * Ability to set read receipts in bulk from the reports screen for emailing rotas.

  * You can now set different default messages for rotas when they're being emailed.

  * Standard holiday calculator has ability to include or exclude QA items in hours calculation.

  * Warning on SMS messages when exceeding 140 input - warns that multiple messages will be sent which might incur more cost.

  * PIN access setup to CF in addition to usual username and password.

  * Medication days selector, plus allergy information.

  * Another break option added to send carer home - defaulting to 660mins (11 hours)

  * GDPR changes - password complexity.

  * Email attachment password for client details.

  * On calls the carer selection drop down is now search as you type.

  * Advanced holiday calculator cap is now set to 28 days.

  * Advanced holiday calculator is capable of checking back 52 weeks instead of 12 for new holiday pay regulations.

  * Filter on notifications to find things easier. 

  * Google maps mileage fix.

  * Lots of bug fixes.
